Amy Baker is a stop-motion animator/ filmmaker. Her work is varied and distinctive, ranging from light-hearted children's animation to the disturbing nightmarish world of her graduate film. Amy grew up attending dance classes which influences the way she sees movement and expression. She has a soft spot for things that are on the outskirts of society; independent collectives, DIY cinemas, alternative music, outsider art. To Amy, animation is a tool that can; communicate, make people laugh, question things, educate and influence positive change!
